As proved by its archaeological ruins, this ancient village was a Roman harbour. The principal church and the bell tower with Byzantine relief and the wonderful colours of the centre buildings are worth visiting. At the hotel guests can book the excursion from Bibione Pineda up to Caorle, it lasts half a day, twice a week (Wednesday and Saturday).

Boat excursions departing from Lignano. Marano Lagunare reached the maximum splendour in ancient times with the patriarchs of Aquileia. The architecture of its buildings gives evidence of its past, tourists can admire the bell tower, the narrow streets called calli and the church. Of great interest is the typical fish market. On the way back the trip provides a view of the shell isle and its wild beach, where many aquatic bird species come to nest. An original day excursion of fun for adults and children.
