THE RIVER TAGLIAMENTO
For mountain bikers this is the most suitable route to have a ride along the riverside of the Tagliamento. Route along the Venetian river up to San Michele al Tagliamento and return on the other in Friuli.
Leave Bibione and at Bevazzana turn on to the so called levee route which offers views over fields, cane-thickets, willows and then on to a higher route along the river up to the isle dei Picchi, marsh surrounded by fauna filled vegetation such as groves, reeds, fern, wild ducks, little snakes. When you arrive in Cesarolo you continue to the village San Filippo and then up to the town San Michele al Tagliamento. You can return along the levee of Friuli to Pertegada.
